The Downtown Kiwanis Club meets every Wednesday at 12:00 PM on the 2nd floor of the First Western Gateway Bank, 333 West Blvd. near downtown Rapid City. You are invited to visit us any Wednesday!
The Rapid City Kiwanis Club was first chartered in 1947.

Downtown Kiwanis serves the children of the Rapid City area through a number of different projects. Some examples of these are: Kiwanis-Mary Hall Park, Shoes for Needy Children Project, Dictionaries for third graders in the Rapid City schools, sponsoring Boy Scout Troop 55, ringing the bell at Christmas for Salvation Army, sponsoring Circle K at SD School of Mines & Technology, sponsoring Key Club at Rapid City Central High School, sponsoring a K-Kids Club at General Beadle Elememtary School,and providing Christmas gifts to the children in the early headstart program or Tokahe Waonspe.
Rapid City Downtown Kiwanis is located in Region 4 of the Minnkota District.

Other clubs in Region 4 are: Rapid City Westside, Lead, Spearfish, Black Hawk, Sturgis and Hot Springs.
South Dakota School of Mines & Technology Circke K is sponsored by the Rapid City Downtown Kiwanis. Circle K meets at 4:00 PM in the McKeel Room of the Surbeck Center on campus.
Rapid City Central High School Key Club is sponsored by Rapid City Downtown Kiwanis. The club received its charter in 2004 and consists of high school students.
